   Rae O'Shea is a New Jersey native who is a self-taught. plein air impressionist painter. "I believe art is the expression of a personal connection with a particular place or a particular moment in time. In my paintings I try to make the viewer feel as if he could step into the scene and experience the landscape the same way I did when I painted it."
      The award winning artist is a signature member of the American Impressionist Society, a member of the Oil painters of America, the Catherine Lorillard Wolf Art Club, the Plein Air Painters of the Jersey Coast, the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters, Landscape Painters of America, and the Plein Air Artists of Colorado.
