The above painting, "Old But Not Forgotten," placed 1st in the Professional Category at the 2009 Fall Art Festival in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.  I was awarded the Windsor & Newton Award for my painting "Fiesta" in the 2010 Artists' Association of Northern Colorado 19th Art Exhibition and Sale.

 

Several wonderful art instructors, classes and workshops have given me a good foundation for the basics of oil painting.  After years of mainly painting still lifes, I am now moving more into portraiture and clothed figure.

 

My husband, Ken, and I raised our two sons in Ft. Collins, Colorado, and we have three grandchildren who live close by.  A schnauzer, Cricket, rounds out our lives; we feel greatly blessed.
