Inspired by travel,

Cindy Briggs luminous watercolors are a journal of her discoveries. Selected by Kennedy Publishing for the 2012 America’s Best of Watercolorists Book.  Her paintings have been featured in National juried shows, Watercolor Magazine and other publications, galleries, museums, corporate and private collections. Co-author of Make Every Day A Painting, Briggs teaches workshops in Italy, France, Greece, Turkey, Sicily, Croatia, and in the Western United States.  An award winning artist, Briggs had a successful 15 year career as an advertising art director for National firms in San Francisco and Los Angeles before focusing primarily on painting.  Her work has evolved into a distinctive approach that captures the nobility and spirit of her subjects in captivating colors and light. She only uses museum quality materials for her work
